Our Story
From One Act of Kindness to a Movement of Hope
What began as a simple act of compassion has grown into a mission that transforms lives. We believe lasting change is created when education, healthcare, livelihood, and community support come together. Every initiative we undertake is designed to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build resilient communities for generations to come
She left her post, raised $12,000 from friends and family, and built a single solar-powered well in Samburu, Kenya. That well didn’t just provide water — it gave children back their schooldays, women back their futures, and a community back its dignity.
Fourteen years later, that one well has become 480 water systems, 1,200 schools, mobile clinics reaching the unreachable, and a movement that has touched 2.4 million lives across 32 nations. But the philosophy hasn’t changed: we build with, never for.
Today, Windivine operates across 12 Indian states with over 400 active volunteers and 60 partner organizations, reaching more than 1.2 million people each year through targeted programs in education, health, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods.
